Villa College has partnered with Amrak Institute of Medical Sciences, affiliated with Durdans Hospital, to provide students with hands-on medical experience through observations of special clinical procedures that are not easily performed in Maldivian Hospitals.

As one of the leading hospitals in the country, Durdans Hospital offers advanced medical care for patients with 260 beds, 60 of those in the critical care department with an ultramodern theatre comprising eight theatres with state-of-the-art intensive units (ICU). With the hospital, students will be able to gain practical experience with modern medical facilities and services.
The programme aligns with the National Competency Standards for Professional Nurses and Midwives to ensure safe practice and quality patient-centric care. Upon successful completion of the program, the candidates will meet the licensing requirements of the Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse.
