RN, Nursing BSc (Hons) Ms Disma Thilakaratne is a lecturer attached to the Department of Nursing, AMRAK Institute of Medical Sciences. She is a registered nurse in the Sri Lanka Nursing Council. She completed her BSc (Hons) in Nursing Degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. During her time as an undergraduate, she specialized in Psychiatric nursing. She has her professional experiences, working as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Colombo, as a Nursing lecturer attached to a private Nursing School and working as a Nursing Officer in the private sector in Sri Lanka. Her research interests include Geriatric Nursing, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Nursing
