Madawa Chandratilake is the Chair and Professor of Medical Education, at Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. He has been involved in course development and evaluation in the field of health professions education in Sri Lanka and overseas for many years. Staff development is one of his key areas. He has engaged in training trainers, who have been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is vastly experienced in quality assurance and accreditation of programmes both nationally and internationally. He provides his expertise to maintain the highest quality and international standards in academic programmes offered by AMRAK, and to improve the scholarship of its academic staff.
